Delight your young ones with this Hyderabad special sweet recipe - Pumpkin kheer.
It can be served hot or cold.

Ingredients
- Peeled and grated pumpkin - 2 cup
- Full fat milk - 2 ½ cup
- Aashirvaad Svasti Pure Cow Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Sugar - 5 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - 1/3 tsp
- Saffron strands - 5 to 6
- Almonds – 5 to 6
- Black Raisins - 8 to 10
Preparation
- Squeeze out excess water from the grated pumpkin.
- Heat Aashirvaad Svasti Ghee in a kadai and add the grated pumpkin to it.
- Stir it over a low flame till all the moisture is absorbed. Now add milk and almonds,
stir well and cook for around 8 to 10 min.
- Add sugar, saffron strands, cardamom powder and black raisins. Stir well
- Cook until mixture turns slightly thick.
- Pumpkin kheer is now ready to be served.
