Indian dessert, it is quick, easy and can be prepared by anyone. So, start the New
Year on a sweet note.

Ingredients
- Semiya/vermicelli – ¾ cup
- Sugar – ½ cup
- Cardamom powder – 1/8 tsp
- Milk – 500 ml
- Water – 200 ml
- Aashirvaad Svasti Pure Cow Ghee – 2 tsp
- Cashew nuts, pista and raisins
Preparation
- Heat Aashirvaad Svasti Ghee in a pan. Add cashews, pista and raisins and fry till
golden. Keep aside.
- Now roast the semiya in the same pan till slightly golden. Set aside.
- Add milk and water to the pan and allow it to boil on a low flame. Now add the semiya
to the boiling milk and keep stirring.
- Add sugar and cardamom powder and stir. Cook the mixture for 3-5 minutes on a low
flame till the semiya payasam thickens.
- Garnish with cashews and raisins and serve.
